Visual identity for the ephemeral summer rooftop bar at Bell Works.

Bar Bella is the rooftop bar at the historic BellWorks building offering a unique space for events, food, and drinks. The challenge was to create a fun and playful identity in line with the rest of Bell Works branding.

Approach

The Bar Bella visual identity draws its inspiration from retro, modern, Italian chic movement of the 50’s. The typography is an alliance of two fonts, offering possibilities for playful and versatile text styling and layouts. The color palette is directly inspired by vintage liquor brand posters from the 1950’s complemented by a couple of fresh shades.

Icons, designed specifically for Bar Bella, became a recognizable element of the identity.
