Core77 THE SMALL NYCXDESIGN SHOWS WORTH SEEING THIS WEEKEND
The Salvage Lab, created by Charlotte Sunnen, presented its first exhibition End Up in May 2017 during the New York Design Week. One-of-a-kind pieces of furniture and objects which have been conceived and brought to life by some of the most exciting up-and-coming designers in the field using salvaged materials ranging from isolation foam and porcelain to reclaimed plastic. The show created a unique moment to reflect on the value of what is constantly, unquestioningly discarded and the endless possibilities for rebirth into the exquisite, the exclusive, the unanticipated.
